Tours

The Sarina Sugar Shed offers fully interactive, guided tours to suit all guests, encouraging them to see, taste and experience the entire paddock-to-plate experience.

We offer a variety of experiences from quick 15-minute tasting sessions through to our popular combined Sugar Shed and Rum Distillery Tour, which runs for approximately 1.5 hours. As tours can book out quickly, advance bookings are recommended, however walk-ins are welcome where space is available.

Group bookings are also warmly welcomed.

All tours are conducted in our working mini replica mill at the Sarina Sugar Shed. Our machinery replicates the process of a full-scale mill and we do not offer tours to the full-scale Plane Creek Mill situated next door.

Please note: Animals are not permitted on tours except assistance dogs.

Booking terms and conditions

Animals are not permitted on tours (exception of assistance dogs).
Late admission to the tour is not permitted to reduce disruption to other tour participants and for safety briefing reasons.
You are strongly advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked tour time for check-in.
No refund is offered on cancellations made within 24 hours of your booked tour, or for no shows. This includes tickets purchased immediately before a tour start time.
No refund or part-refund for late arrivals who miss the tour (you will be offered a place on the next available tour which may not be the next scheduled tour if it is fully booked).
All tours are conducted in our working mini replica mill at the Sarina Sugar Shed, our machinery replicates the process of a full-scale mill, and we do not offer tours to the full-scale Plane Creek Mill who are situated next door to us.
Child is 4 years to 17 years (under 4 years no charge)
Concession rate is for Senior Card holder only and you will be asked to present this on arrival

Kids Tour - School Holidays

45 min tour: 9.30am | 11am | 12.30pm | 2pm.
ONLY DURING QLD SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. Bookings required. Adults at kids' prices.*

Tasting Sessions

15 min sessions: 10.45am | 1.45pm or walk-ins.*
Bookings strongly advised. (Note: a tasting session is included in the Sugar Shed Tour).

1 hour tour: Saturdays monthly at 4pm.
Bookings required. 18+ event.
Private group bookings available.
